  • Ashlee Andrews, DVM

    Dr. Ashlee Andrews was born and raised here in Albuquerque. She attended the University of New Mexico for her undergraduate studies and was a member of the Lobo track and cross-country teams.

  • Kendra D. Freeman, DVM, MS, Diplomate AVCS-LA, SA

    Kendra Freeman is a New Mexico native and a 2009 graduate of Colorado State University. Following veterinary school, Dr. Freeman completed two internships in large animal surgery and critical care in the mid-Atlantic region.

  • Jenn Lepp, DVM

    Dr. Jenn Lepp is a highly skilled emergency veterinarian with over a decade of experience in caring for critically ill and injured animals. She is committed to supporting both pets and their owners through urgent and challenging situations.

  • Amanda Rouse, DVM

    On her path to becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Rouse graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with a degree in biology focused on pre-veterinary studies. She then went on to complete veterinary school at University of California Davis.

  • Diego Matek, DVM

    Dr. Diego Matek considers himself a New Mexico native having spent most of his life in Albuquerque. He received a Bachelor of Science with the highest honors from the University of New Mexico and followed this by graduating top ten in his class at Colorado State University becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

  • Katrina Ray, DVM

    Dr. Katrina Ray graduated from veterinary school in 2008 from Colorado State University. She worked for almost 13 years in general mixed animal practice in Roswell, NM. After a brief stint doing relief work in Las Cruces, NM and urgent care in Rio Rancho, she has settled at Roadrunner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital

  • Kyanna Martinez, DVM

    Dr. Kyanna Martinez is a native of beautiful northern New Mexico. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in animal science from New Mexico State University and later graduated veterinary school from Washington State University. Dr. Martinez prioritizes being a patient advocate first.

  • Sarah Allred, DVM

    Dr. Allred is an east coast native who completed her undergraduate training at the University of Florida, receiving her bachelors in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. She then lived in West Africa for over two years where she worked on a variety of environmental projects through the Peace Corps.

  • Fletcher Przybyla, DVM

    Dr. Fletcher Przybyla is a dedicated emergency veterinarian with special interests in urgent care and critical treatment for small animals. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona.

  • Megan Pierce, RVT, Hospital Manager

    Megan was born and raised in Albuquerque and has her degree in veterinary technology. She has been in specialty practices for most of her 10 year career and has been with Roadrunner since shortly after its inception in 2022.

  • Krissie Kissinger, Co-Manager

    Krissie is an accomplished co-manager with a passion for customer service and teamwork. Krissie has an extensive background in customer service- both in human medicine and veterinary medicine.

  • Lauran Hare, Lead Emergency Technician

    Lauran is one of our lead technicians and has worked in veterinary medicine since 2010. Having worked in different general practices and various specialties, she found that emergency medicine is her passion and has been with Roadrunner since its infancy.

  • Vaughn Herrera, Lead Surgery Technician

    Vaughn was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Rio Rancho, NM. He started his 14+ year career in veterinary medicine in Ruidoso, NM. He enjoys assisting in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, with a specific interest in advanced diagnostic imaging.

  • Kelsey Savage, Overnight Emergency Lead Technician

    Kelsey has been working in veterinary medicine for about 12 years. She has a bachelors degree in biology with a double minor in photography and culinary arts. Throughout her career she has worked at large and small/exotic practices as well as specialty practices but her true passion is emergency medicine.
